Main Ingredient

The main ingredient of MustAdd-KM is the extract of quassia with synergist .

Quassia extract is extracted from the dry branches and leaves of the quassia plant

picrasma quassioides , containing chemical components such as alkaloids , quassin ,

quasaractone and so on . Alkaloids is the main active ingredient (mainly quassione , also

known as quassia alkaloids ) . Quassia has the effects of clearing away heat , removing

dampness and detoxifying , and it is clinically used to treat upper respiratory tract

infections , enteritis , bacillary dysentery , acute tonsillitis , etc . In animal production ,  it can effectively inhibit bacteria , reduce inflammation , enhance immunity , and improve animal growth performance .

Main Efficacy

1. Anti-inflammation:  Quassia extract can inhibit the secretion of pro-inflammatory cytokines such as TNF-。 and IL-8 , and inhibit the distribution of COX-2 and iNOS proteins , thereby effectively alleviating inflammatory damage to the respiratory tract and digestive tract .

2.  Antibacterial:    Quassia  decoction  and fat-soluble total  alkaloids  have  inhibitory  effects  on Staphylococcus aureus , Pseudomonas aeruginosa , Escherichia coli and heterosexual Salmonella paratyphi in vitro , which can effectively reduce the incidence of diarrhea and morbidity.

3. Antioxidant:  It has a high ability to eliminate superoxide anions and hydroxyl groups , effectively relieving oxidative stress .
